David “Hammer” Lee Hollingsworth III, age 34, of McEwen, TN, went to be with his Father in Christ on Friday, August 16, 2024. David is now rejoicing with the Lord. He was born on September 14, 1989, in Dickson, TN. David brought joy and happiness to the lives he touched.
David Lee found his purpose in life and loves the Lord. His smile would touch your heart and soul and will always be in our hearts. He was taken far too soon from us, and he will never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace Son.
We all love you.
Left to cherish David’s memory is his father, David Hollingsworth, Jr. and his step-mother of 32 years, Renessa Hollingsworth, both of McEwen, TN; sister, Dava Kramer of Cincinnati, OH; half-brothers, Jason Pierpoint and Justin Pierpoint, both of Big Sandy, TN; 2 nephews, Dylan and Colin; niece, Willow; beloved friend of 21 years, Joseph Clements, ; David is also survived by John Neiner, from the Hope Center who put his arms around him and led him to Christ; friends that became like brothers to him, Chis (Elizabeth) and Billy (Roxanne).
David is preceded in death by his birth mother, Tonya Jones.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Johnathon Neiner will officiate the service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
