The world lost a truly genuine, kindhearted, loving person when you passed David. I met David in elementary school and have been friends with him since then. I loved catching up with him when I would shop at Winn Dixie. We always talked about the recent events in our lives and about the past when we were kids. You and your beaming smile are already missed so much by everyone´s lives you have touched over the years. Rest in peace my friend.

I first met David when I moved to Inverness in 2005 from Tampa. He was moving carts next to my car at Winn Dixie. We started chatting and when he heard I worked for the City of Tampa he said his cousin Amelia B did. I said oh yes, she worked with and for me. Immediately we had a connection. Every time I saw him he smiled from ear to ear even when in pain and offered a big ole hug. Over the years we would meet at McDonalds and later Burger King when I went to town and have wonderful conversations. He loved Shalom Park in Ocala, to sing, and to be a wonderful loving faith based friend. I feel like someone very special will be missing in my life now every time I am in town at one of his work places. God received an angel in this man and his memory will live forever in all of us who knew him.

And proceeded by his mom Rosemarie Houston who passed 7/12/2014, who he loved with all his heart, David was a very considerate human been, there was no one he didn´t know or how they relate, He laugh about anything, but loud on other things. He is loved by everyone he got contact with. I known him since 6th grade which was 40 years ago, we hung out during school at lunch time and we usto sing the great love of all by Whitney Houston, and when I moved back 18 years ago I still had lunch here and there, he had a Great ear to listen to anyone that needed to talk. David was one of kind and I am grateful to being a friend of his. R.I.H my dear friend,
