David Howard Obituary
David Mack Howard of Watts Creek, Kentucky, age 65, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Born May 14, 1958, David resided in Harlan County all his life. He had been a coal miner.
Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his parents Mack and Mary Jewel Howard and his mother-in-law, Mary Mullins Hunt.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 23 years Cynthia Howard; three daughters, Crystal Wright (James), Priscella Howard and Donielle Matthews Gross; eight grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Luke, Cameron, Caysen, Noah, Gabriel and Ashley; sisters-in- law, Sherry Noe and Heather Mefford; special friends Steven Robbins and Ruby Schroeter, as well as a host of cousins, nephews and nieces to mourn his passing.
Family will receive friends in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 5 Pm until 7 PM. Funeral Services for Mr. Howard will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 1 PM. Interment will follow at the Mullins Cemetery in Putney, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Bluegrass Care Navigators for their compassionate care.
