David Huggins Obituary

Born September 7, 1951, in Sumter, he was the son of the late Ernest Christopher Huggins and the late Cora Belle Ellis Huggins. David was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church where he served as a former Deacon. He retired from Thompson Construction after 17 years of service. He was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, and a son, Robert Huggins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Newman.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alice Drive Baptist Church Missions Fund, 1305 Loring Mill Rd., Sumter, SC 29150.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
