Of Sheridan, NY January 2, 2026; beloved husband of Virginia (nee Wright) Hughes; loving father of Lisa Turner, Julianne, Bridget Loder-Hughes, David H. Jr., Sheila, Rachel, Rebecca, Joshua and Angela; cherished grandpa to 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; dearest son of the late Cyril and Julia (nee Walsh) Hughes; dear brother of late Peter, Burke, Gary and June; also survived by many other loving family members and dear friends. Family will be present to receive friends Thursday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5453 Southwestern Blvd. (corner of Rogers Rd. 716-646-5555) where a Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 pm. Share condolences at www.kaczorfunerals.com
