We were shocked and saddened yesterday to learn of David´s death.
We met David when he was a teenager in Nebraska. He " worked for" our parents, helping them around the place, particularlywith the cement animal business. He would ride his go kart over to their house.
Our parents thought of him as a family member, like another grandson. The grandchildren enjoyed his company, his sense of humor, his gentle demeanor, and just being around him. He was also strikingly handsome ...and humble.
Our family was disappointed when he moved to another state but we were happy for him that he was achieving his goals.
We last saw David at our father´s visitation and funeral in October 2022. We were all thrilled to see him. We were touched that he drove all that way and took the time and effort to come honor Lou.
He beamed as he introduced his daughter to us. His love and devotion for her was clearly evident.
We will always cherish our memories of time spent with David. We are incredibly sad.

I didn't know Dave that well but what I did know of him was that he was a very funny guy, he worked very hard, and he had a very sweet soul. Dave, you will be missed very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God bless. Jesseca Laycock
