David Griffin Obituary
Born on March 13, 1944, in Torrington, CT, he was the son of the late Brian and Gertrude (Simons) Griffin. David enjoyed a long and dedicated 38-year career as a machinist with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. David had a lifelong love of music, spent many years DJ-ing family gatherings, and especially enjoyed bowling throughout his life.
He is survived by his children, Timothy Griffin, Shelley Eastham (Keith), and Tara Lapane (Eric), all of Enfield, CT. He also leaves his siblings Sandra Ekvall of Florida, Martha Badeau (Ronald) of Enfield, CT, and John Griffin (Charlee) of East Windsor, CT, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Patricia Johnston of East Windsor, CT.
He was predeceased by his sisters Barbara Allen, Virginia Tripp, and Laura Del Negro. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be shared by his family. To leave online condolences, please visit www.Leetestevens.com.
