David Elmer Keller

David Elmer Keller passed away on February 13, 2026, at age 81 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born November 21, 1944, in Colorado Springs, he was a lifelong resident.

He worked 35 years as a Tool & Die Machinist at Hewlett-Packard/Agilent and 16 years at General Machine before retiring. David enjoyed woodworking, creating handmade items like pens and bowls. He also liked outdoor activities including softball, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and traveling. He was an avid bowler and fan of Colorado sports teams. He loved hosting family gatherings and barbecues.

As a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, David served in various roles, including ushering.

Survived by wife of 60 years, Betty Keller of Colorado Springs; daughters Becky Gearhart (Andrew) of Colorado Springs and Sharon Rosenberger (Chris) of Wickenburg, Arizona; son Donald Keller (Amber) of Cascade; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Henry and Katie Keller, brother Harry Keller, and sisters Jane Storm and Irene Hehn.

Services: Monday, February 23, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 846 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Viewing 9:00-10:00 a.m.; Service 10:00-11:00 a.m.; Committal at Evergreen Cemetery 11:30 a.m. (immediate family only); Reception 12:00-1:00 p.m. in fellowship hall.
