David Kendrick Obituary
David was born on December 22, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later dedicated many years of service working for NCR (National Cash Register) until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Jackson Kendrick Jr., and his mother, Anne Gaines Tibbs Kendrick.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Lancaster Kendrick; his son, David Albert Kendrick Jr. and wife Lori; his daughter, Christina Kendrick Whitlock and husband James; his brother, William Jackson Kendrick III and wife Joan; six grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece.
David was an Eagle Scout and remained a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a devoted dog lover and was known for being full of love, laughter, and fun. His warm personality and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
At the family's request, services will be private. Mr. Kendrick will be laid to rest at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Virginia.
