Dear Kern Family,
I was sent the notice of David's passing by the Pennington School. Dave and I were classmates at Pennington and we spent many lunch periods riding in his Camaro from Pennington to DeLorenzo's for pizza. He was very proud of the car! Although it has been a long time since I have seen him, he was a dear friend and I am very sad to hear of his passing. I am sending my sincere condolences to his family.

My prayers and heartfelt sympathy to the family. I was a fellow classmate of David's and have many great memories of hanging out in the library in the mornings. I'm very sad to hear the news and I pray that God will bring you comfort.

Hello Kern Family, My sincere condolences in this time of loss. I was notified via email from Pennington of David's passing. I went to high school with David and he was a good soul and a good friend. I pray you all are ok during this difficult time and if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Just learned of Dave's passing today. My deepest sympathies to his family. He paid great attention to detail in his work at NJDOH and had a great memory for fun trivia. RIP Dave.

On behalf of the Hamilton College community, I would like to express our sincerest condolences. I have had Mr. Kern's son Nick as a student for the past three years. He is an absolutely wonderful person, and, I know he had the best role models in his parents. We hope your family can find some solace in the wonderful legacy that Nick exemplifies.
