David Klosterman

David Klosterman, 62, Minot, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, at his home.
David Earl Klosterman was born on January 22, 1961, a son of Earl and Arlene (Johnson) Klosterman in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot, attending Sunnyside, Jim Hill, Central Campus and graduated in 1979 from Minot High School. David furthered his education by attending Minot State University.
Following his education, David began working for Culligan Water Condition service of Minot. He was well known throughout the Minot area and thoroughly enjoyed working with his customers. Following a work injury, David left Culligan and began working for Vocational Rehab for several years, and most recently for REM of Minot where he was a direct support specialist.
David was a loving brother, father, and grandfather. He was extremely proud of his son Brandon and his granddaughter Lainie. Together they enjoyed card games, spending time on the family farm, working on computers, watching the Minnesota Vikings football games, looking at classic cars and collecting and playing guitar. He also loved his dog, Friskie.
David is survived by: son, Brandon; granddaughter, Lainie; siblings, Lee (Pam) Klosterman, Bruce (Janelle) Klosterman, Susan (Michael Buckley) Klosterman, Barb Barr, Patti (Wade) Whitson; several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
David was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
Private family services will be held at a later date in the summer of 2024.
