David Edward Knee

David Edward Knee, age 53, passed away in Budapest, Hungary on December 5, 2011. David was a graduate of Brandywine High School and Notre Dame University, where he co-captained the Notre Dame Golf team in his final two years. His love of the game resulted in his winning various championships, namely the duPont Country Club Junior championship and the Purdue University Collegiate Invitational Open. After graduation, David taught science at Nottingham Academy for two years and then attended graduate school at Indiana University earning a MBA degree. He was subsequently employed by various financial institutions in New York, Chicago, London and Budapest as a money manager. David and his family resided in Budapest for the past six years where he was buried. David is survived by his loving wife Reka' and three children, Christopher, Rachel and Klara Olivia, his mother Ann, his father Richard, brothers Richard, Kevin and his wife Joan, and Thomas, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 7 Sharpley Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ministry of Caring, 119 N. Jackson Street, Wilmington, DE 19806.
