Patsy Warner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home on Oct. 1, 2025.
Patsy Elizabeth Warner, 69, went to heaven on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1956, in Petersburg, West Virginia to Johnie and Theda Warner.
She graduated high school in June of 1974, from East Fairmont High School. She was married at 21 and had a beautiful daughter, Michelle Lynn Welch. Patsy went to FSC in her 30's, ran cross country, was on the dean's list, and graduated in 1995. She worked at the Marion County Board of Education with a double major. She had a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting.
Patsy had a special bond with animals. She brought home many critters. She loved her horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, and chickens. She also loved her rooster, Oliver, as he was funny, but a great protector.
Patsy was a God-fearing girl who loved the Lord so much. She always kept her faith, which was very important to her. She made sure to speak to everyone about Heaven, faith, and the Lord. Before covid, she was a member of Barrackville Bethesda Baptist. She was saved and baptized at Fellowship Baptist in her teen years. Due to covid, she started to attend Victory Baptist per her sister, Linda. Pastor Dave Cyphers at Barrackville Bethesda Baptist and Pastor Nathan and Pastor Dave Meyer have all been wonderful. The pastors just wanted your heart and preached salvation.
Patsy leaves behind a daughter, Michelle Lynn Parrish; best son in law, Jason Parrish; grandsons, Spencer Parrish and Mason Parrish; her loving English lab, Remi; her ex – husband, Bill Welch her two sisters, Linda and her spouse, Joseph Bilotta and Susan DeVito; one brother, Michael and his spouse Kathy Warner; Uncle Jim Witt; a family friend, Mona Warner; nieces and nephews, Anthony DeVito, Nicolena (Cody) Alushin, Cori (Mike) Luzadder, Jesse (Leslie) Bilotta, and their children; and several cousins.
Patsy was proceeded in death by her sister at birth, Mary Ann Warner; her grandpas and grandmas; her aunt Lee Witt; Uncle Alston Thompson; Aunt Teretha Thompson; daddy – Johnie Warner; mommy – Theda Warner, and her wonderful and best friend, Gary Thompson.
The family would like to thank everyone for their endless support, cards, prayers, texts, and visits. It really meant a lot to Patsy. "Keep your faith and get right with the Lord and go to Heaven!" ~ Patsy Warner
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.
Friends and family may gather at Victory Baptist Church, 1875 Morgantown Ave, Fairmont, on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A service will be held at 1:00 pm at the church, with Pastor Nathan Barker and Pastor David Meyer officiating.
