David Kosko Obituary
Dave was born September 6, 1951, in DuBois to John and Beverly (Bellingham) Kosko. They preceded him in death.
Dave was a graduate of DAHS class of 1969. He received a BA from Penn State and his Master's Degree from Slippery Rock. He was a licensed mental health specialist at Penn Highlands and a certified drug and alcohol counselor. His favorite counseling tool was his goat, resulting in a large collection of goats.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, avid Hummingbird Speedway race fan, liked music trivia, and enjoyed walking his dog, Daisy.
On April 14, 1984, he married his love, Shelley Bish, in Clearfield, PA. They have a daughter, Megan Kosko of Corinth, Mississippi, and a son Matthew Kosko of Washington D.C. They survive. Dave is the last surviving member of his family.
Viewing will be held Friday, July 2, 2021, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 875 Sunflower Drive, DuBois, or the local food bank.

Dave always sat behind me in our home rooms throughout our school years as we were always placed alphabetically. I remember him as a sweet quiet guy with a gentle smile. God bless him!
