Dave and traveling companions

I met Dave on a bicycle trip across NC in 1999. We rode together much of the 800 miles and became good friends. On another occasion we rode a century (100) miles one day on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We shared an interest in Civil War history and and along with our "platoon" traveled to many museums and battlefields on the eastern seabord. Dave was the only one of our group with an officer's rank so he'll always be "Captain Dave.
He'll be missed.
