David Armand LaFlamme, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Newport News, Virginia, just one week shy of his 74th birthday. Born on December 12, 1951, in Newport News, David spent his entire life in the city he called home.

David dedicated much of his career to the bread industry, working as a salesman for Brenner's Bakery, Arnold Bread Company, Mary Jane Bread, and Tom's Snack & Chips. In his later years, he brought his warm personality and work ethic to Golden Corral in Hampton.

A lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins, David found joy in cheering for his team. He was also an aficionado of old cowboy and western movies, spending his leisure time enjoying these classic films often with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Known for his daily bicycle rides, David cherished visiting friends and making trips to the store.

David was a member of St. James Miracle Temple Inc Church in Newport News, where he found community and spiritual solace. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. LaFlamme and Mary Mae LaFlamme, and his brothers, Bobby LaFlamme and Steve LaFlamme.

David is survived by his loving children: Shawn Armand LaFlamme, Christopher Daniel LaFlamme, David Harl LaFlamme, Kandice Marie LaFlamme, Angelique Suzette LaFlamme, Chantilly Lace LaFlamme, and Heather D. Salvato. He also leaves behind his sisters, Jaqaline Violet LaFlamme Jones, Marie Lorraine LaFlamme, and three other daughters, along with numerous grandchildren. His lifelong best friend, Stine Williams McRae (34th Street), and dear friends Audrey, whom he affectionately referred to as his "wife," and Connie will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Services to honor David's life will be held at Liberty Live, located at 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, Virginia 23666. The date and time will be announced at a later date. In accordance with his wishes, David's ashes will be scattered over the James River, a place close to his heart.

David Armand LaFlamme will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the love he shared with all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
