David J Lawlor

David J. Lawlor, 91, of Freehold, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Community Medical Center. Born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey, David was a proud lifelong member of the community he called home. David dedicated 25 years of service as a Maintenance Mechanic at Nestlé in Freehold, a career he took great pride in. Outside of work, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He also had a lifelong passion for restoring and working on antique cars, especially his cherished 1930 Model A Ford Coupe and his 1966 Mustang convertible. A devoted sports fan, David enthusiastically supported the Dodgers, Rangers, Knicks, and the New York Giants.
David was predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Lawlor, and by his beloved wife, Valencia (Vinnie) Lawlor. He is survived by his children: Don Lawlor (Alison), Thom Lawlor (Lisa), Kevin Lawlor (Martha), Theresa Gormley (James), and Rosemarie Lawlor, Coltan (son); his siblings Paul Lawlor (Tessie), Richard Lawlor (Barbara), and Nancy Pickering (Craig); as well as 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and love.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold.
