David George Lawrence

David was a wonderful person. We spent many a dinner together working on the road. David was the consummate professional and he always strived for perfection in everything he did. David was the personification of class. I will miss him.

So sorry to learn of David's passing. I only found ou today. David was at my shop last fall. Always a gentleman and a pleasure to see. My condolences for your loss. His legacy and elegance will live on.

My deepest sympathy to the family of David Lawrence. David and I were apparel reps together for House of Carrington and Fairway and Greene. David always was such a nice man, impeccably dressed with a smile on his face. He will be a southern gentleman, truly missed.

David was one of the finest men I have ever met. We first met in Coral Gables, Fla
some 43 years ago. He was a good friend and best salesman that ever called on me. Our journey started at HartMarx and then Geo. Muse clothing co. in Atlanta.

Mr. Lawrence was the epitome of a southern gentleman. His kindness and sweet soul will always have a place in my heart. Sending prayers and hugs winging your way. I know you will miss him tremendously. His memory will live on in the gentleness he shared with his family and friends.

We are saddened to hear about David. We have many fond memories while living nearby in Atlanta. Anne and family you are in our thoughts and prayers.

David was one of the first persons I met when I started traveling in the apparel business over 40 years ago - he was working for Johnny Cunningham in Athens Georgia and he made a point to welcome me and treat me with courtesy and respect which was his trademark in life - I will miss seeing him and having breakfast and discussing the apparel business and Athens Georgia at every Charlotte trade show like we used to do. I am heart broken at the loss of one of my closest friends. Dave and I roomed together in college before I left him for my permanent room mate of 53 years, Donna. Dave was one of the groomsmen in our wedding as I was in his and sweet Anne's. There are so many great memories to look back on, especially attending Georgia Games - Go Dawgs! and visiting one another which looking back on now, regretfully, we did not do that enough. Despite being born in PA, Dave was a true Southern Gentleman and I will miss him.

Mr. Wonderful will be truly missed. He was such a classy gentleman!
