He was born February 12, 1956, in Green Bay, the son of Thomas and Elaine Jessogne Lison. Dave enjoyed playing cribbage with his Dad. He also enjoyed working on miscellaneous house projects with his brothers, nephews, and friends. He loved to cook and bake, and was well known for sharing his banana cream pies. David is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; his special friends, Gary Kohl and Amos Mark Kohl; and his canine companions, Dani and Summer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Lison, and his brothers, Daniel and Raymond, and his dog Sheena, a life long companion. Funeral services for Dave will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton, with Deacon Patrick Whitcomb officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Duck Creek, Wis. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in David's name. David's family would like to express a special thank you to his nephew Rusty, for caring and being there for Dave. Dad, a great father, always willing to go out of his way to help everyone else before himself. A caring man who gave and gave and never expected to get anything back. Thank you so much for being there for all of my friends and helping all of us out when we needed you most. I Love You, Dad!
