David William Longo

Mr. David W. "Pike" Longo, 78, of Marlboro MA and formerly of Hopedale MA died Saturday (November 29, 2025) at The Reservoir Center in Marlboro MA after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Patricia (Thibeault) Longo.

David was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Biagio Longo and the late Charlotte E. (Wasner) Longo. He attended Hopedale public schools and was a graduate of Hopedale High School, Class of 1966. He also attended Quinsigamond Community College.

Following high school David was a proud veteran having served in the US Air Force.

David had been employed for many years working in the pest control industry first working at Milford Exterminating. He then went on to own & operate his own exterminating company, Bugmaster, located in Hopedale MA.

David was a longtime member of the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club and was an accomplished billiards player & chess player. He also loved fishing and was an avid sportsfan, especially of the Boston Bruins & the NE Patriots.

David is survived by his wife Patti & her daughters Lisa Phillips & Jackie Alger of Milford MA; 3 daughters from a previous marriage: Amy, Angie & Amanda; his brother: John A. Longo and his wife Karen of Sutton MA; his niece: Christina Longo of Sutton MA; he also had a close relationship with the two children of a past companion: Dennis Flanagan & Joseph Flanagan.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held on WEDNESDAY (December 10th) from 9:30am to 11:00am, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial of his cremains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA.
