Mr. David Andrew Lunt, age 68 of Stuart, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 10, 2025, surrounded by family and his best dog, Buddy. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on August 4, 1957, and was preceded in death by his father, Harold Raymond Lunt. David, lovingly known as Dave, was a devoted auto body technician whose long and successful career was marked not only by his skill but also by his unwavering commitment to excellence.

Dave had a creative spirit that shone brightly through his love of pottery. He was not just an artist; he was a generous soul who found profound peace in sharing his unique talent with those around him. Whether it was family or friends, he had an innate ability to connect through the art he created, turning clay into cherished memories and bringing people closer together with each piece.

His passion for life extended beyond the wheel and the kiln; he cherished the great outdoors, especially when it came to fishing trips with his brothers.

The foundation of Dave's life was built on love and friendship, which was beautifully reflected in his partnership with Lois. Together, they crafted a life rich with laughter, support, and a deep appreciation for one another. Their relationship served as a testament to the power of companionship, marked by shared dreams and unwavering commitment.

As we remember David Andrew Lunt, we celebrate a man who touched countless lives with his warmth and generosity. His artistic spirit and loving nature will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he has departed from this earthly realm, his legacy of friendship, love, and creativity will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.

Mr. Lunt is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lois Szatkowski Lunt of the home; his mother, Sally Ann Harries Lunt of Baltic, Connecticut; five siblings, Patricia Howland (John), Michael Lunt (Karen), Lisa Pavone (Frank), all of Scotland, Connecticut; Thomas Lunt (Nancy) of Danbury, North Carolina, and Christopher Lunt of Baltic, Connecticut; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is assisting the family, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
