Like Pat, he was always "Dave" to me from the early days at Kipling. Just a great guy. Passed away way too young. May the family always cherish his memory.

I did not address David as Red, I liked Dave better. During our friendship we worked on his Jeep in my driveway and whatever gas station bay would let us in, we caddied and worked at Briarwood, we hung out and did all "those things" high school hanging out offers. His mom actually took me in her Buick to get my drivers license. The steering wheel was above my head. She was just great. I remember Dave's first real date in my house - he was awakened. When needed he had my back and I had his. Life circumstances pulled me away, my fault. His family circumstances proved just how strong he was. I've cherished his friendship and now I cherish his memory. God's speed to Dave and his entire family. Pat Marshall

Red, captian of the renown 16" softball team, "Spent Hoover". Too many victories to count. Camaraderie was abundant. We played hard for our leader and enjoyed every minute.

Snowing heavy on a school night. Red will be plowing driveways tomorrow. My job is to take good notes in class and get homework assignments to share. Charlie
