David C. Marsh

David C. Marsh, 93, of Upper Burrell, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Concordia of Fox Chapel. He was born in New Kensington on Oct. 8, 1932, to the late Harry Hartge and Ida G. Johnston Marsh and was a lifelong resident of Upper Burrell. Mr. Marsh was an Army veteran of the Korean War and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Lower Burrell; a life member of the Upper Burrell Fire Co. 115; a 65-year member of the American Legion 868; a member of the Bethel Lodge 789 of Free and Accepted Masons; a 32nd Degree Mason with the New Castle Lodge; and a member of the Seventh Street Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed going to his camp in Corsica, hunting, fishing, and feeding and watching birds. He is survived by his children, Don (Nancy Jo) Marsh of Upper Burrell, David (Laurie) Marsh of Nioma, CA, and Darci (Robert) Koscianski of Upper Burrell; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeremy) Maskas, Brian (Kelli) Poprik, Megan (Aaron Galea), Cali Jo (Nathan) Huth, Justin (Ashley) Marsh, Kasey (Megan) Koscianski, Marissa (Scott) Ziegler, Brittanie (Michael) Martinez, Rachael (Yuri) Brookings, Kodey (Rachael) Koscianski, Jacob Watts, Abigail Watts, and Michael (Nya) Kovitch; 27 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Krause, Ronald (Cheryl) Marsh, and Gary (Mary) Marsh; son-in-law, Michael Kovitch, all of Upper Burrell; and sister-in-law, Barbara Sapp of Pensacola, FL. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road, at Alder St., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, by Pastor Jenny Gordon. Interment will be private in Greenwood Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
