We are so very sorry to learn of David's passing. Tim always thought so much of him. We are not able to attend his funeral as Tim is in stage 4 cancer with a new diagnosis of pneumonia. Please know that all of you are in our prayers and thoughts. David will surely be missed by many. Sincerely, Tim and Sandy Twomey

I will miss David- an intelligent and generous man who would teach you about the stars in the sky and watch patiently while you tried (failing miserably) to put up a spinnaker by yourself for the first time on a sunrise watch....
Rest in Peace-
s/ Arthur

Dear friends in the Maybank family,
Please accept my condolences for your loss. Mr. David Maybank was, to me, the kind of exceptional person that so many of us aspire to be and for whom we all had such genuine respect. Charleston was blessed to have him, and we certainly will not forget him.
Sincerely, Michael Trouche
