David McAlee Obituary
He was born in Oahu, Hawaii, to Maj. George E. McAlee (United States Marine Corps.) and Maxine Haight McAlee.
Following graduation from Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, NC, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
in Japan.
He was a CPA and worked for Price Waterhouse in Winston-Salem, NC and Memphis, TN. He worked many years as
Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida in Jacksonville.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Bud and sister, Maureen. He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Raquel),
Grandson, Henry, of Fruit Cove, FL., and sister Mary Underwood (John), of Maggie Valley, NC.
A private memorial will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery to honor him.
