David lived his life to the fullest, playing cards with friends, playing softball, fishing, camping, and taking his grandchildren on trips. He was a loving husband and wonderful grandfather. He enjoyed attending his children's sporting events and loved going to his granddaughter's softball games. He hosted the most fantastic fish fries and made the best chicken and noodles. He will be missed by many friends and family.
David will be survived by his wife Ruth McClure, Son Patrick (Joi), Daughter Melissa Collins (Steve), Granddaughters Abigail Collins (Fabian), Rebecca Baruela (Adrian), Kaitlyn Collins (Grant), Hailey Mortiz, Lainey McClure, Great Grandsons Mateo Castro and Julian Baruela.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
We will cherish the memories we have and will miss you dearly, we love you grandpa.
Funeral Services will be limited to immediate family. There will be a fish fry in the spring of 2025 for a celebration of life in a true Mac Daddy style. Details will be announced at a later time.
