David was my hands and heart in the men´s dorm at the Mission during his time in Fairmont. When someone was having a difficult time, I could always rely on David to watch over and care for whomever was struggling, even sitting at their bedside throughout the night. He was excited to move forward with his own apartment and getting a car repaired and on the road, with his aunt´s help. David expressed love and an abundance of compassion to family he loved, and even the stranger he encountered. The Christlike tender mercies David showed others will be remembered and carried in my heart. I was blessed to know him.

I will always remember David....when I started working at Union Rescue Mission, I gave my testimony at one of the Celebrate Recovery Programs and I will never forget how hard David hugged me when I was finished. He said. "Ms Angela you don't know how much I needed to hear that. This picture is when him and some other guys were headed to Grafton to fish. He was so happy that day. My heart is broken and I will always remember you. David

My favorite memories of David would have to be ,the day I just felt like giving up and walking out of McDonald´s I had , had enuff of the stress and I was literally working on 2 hours of sleep , he walks in the break room and instantly puts his arm around my shoulder and says " chin up beautiful, don´t allow the negativity to bring u down" and then just starts random dancing for me acting silly , he was such a joy to have around and made the work day so much better , even out of work we talked a few times and he would tell me to always see the good in everything around me ! Ima miss him soo much , rest easy my friend and fly high!! You will forever be missed ..
