David H. Meigs

David H. Meigs, 91, of Berlin, devoted husband of Marilyn (Nielson) Meigs, passed away Saturday (September 2, 2023) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in New Britain, he was a resident of Berlin most of his life. Dave was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School and received his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from UConn. Dave was a Veteran and had a long, wonderful career with HELCO, now Eversource. Always eager to help others, he was a longtime volunteer at First Lutheran Church in New Britain.

Besides his wife Marilyn, he leaves a son, James Meigs and his wife Jane of Newington; a daughter, Terri Meigs of Berlin; a brother, Robert Meigs of Clevelend, OH; two grandsons, Steven and Eric Meigs; and four nieces, Laura Perzanowski and her husband Thomas, Kathleen Badolato and her husband Joseph, Jennifer Meigs and Debbie Nielson. Dave was predeceased by a son, Thomas Meigs; a grandson, Zachary Meigs; a brother, Judson Meigs and two nephews, Jonathan Meigs and John Drummond.

His funeral and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
