I extend my sincere sympathy for the loss of Dave. I was the secretary in the I&M System Operation Department and worked with Dave from 1982 until his retirement in 1987. (I even coordinated his retirement party!) Being a young girl of only 19 when I started working with Dave, he helped mold my work ethic and taught me about the electric utility business. I will forever remember Dave as the person who encouraged me to start putting money into the company savings plan as soon as I was old enough. Dave always had a smile on his face and was a joy to work with. I will cherish my memories of him.

Barb and Family, Carol and I extend our sympathy to all. Dave was responsible for my career in the Dispatch office on Spy Run and I always apprediated the oportunity. Also considered you two to be good friends. Always enjoyed having you as vacation neighbors on Webster Lake.

Barb, Grace and the Mills family,
Toby and I send our sincere sympathies for the loss of David. Although it has been many years since we have seen each other we have always remembered.
If the name Toby does not ring a bell, David was my boss at I&M and we built a house on Flutter Rd. Dave was the absolute best boss I have ever had...and that is the truth.
I have very found memories of working with Dave and all the great people at I&M.
Toby and I will send our prayers to all of Dave's family through this very difficult time.
Love, Toby and Jerry Oswald

Ralph and Grace were my mother's (Rachel Beebe) friends. We went to church with the Mills for many years. Marie was in my grade at school and my mother organized a blood drive when Marie died.
When I saw the picture in the paper, I though it was a picture of Ralph in his later years.
Every member of the Mills family was a good Christian, and my family and I respected them very much.
