In Loving Memory of David Alejandro Montes
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Alejandro Montes, a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, on July 3, 1984, David moved to the United States at the age of three, first settling in New York before relocating to Florida with his family.
David attended South Lake High School, where he met his wife, Vanessa. His journey led him to serve in the U.S. Air Force, a testament to his dedication and strength. In 2007, he and Vanessa married and built a family together, welcoming their two beautiful daughters, Sofia and Valentina, whom he adored.
David had a deep passion for football, especially his beloved Miami Dolphins, and a love for cars. Over the years, he and his family moved to Ocala before returning to Clermont to be closer to loved ones.
Family meant everything to David. He had an unwavering love for his mother, María, and his siblings, Franklin, Matthew, and Kenny. He also shared a special bond with his adopted family, Bo and Jill, who loved him as their own.
David faced many challenges due to a condition that made life especially difficult for him. Despite his struggles, he was deeply loved, and his strength never went unnoticed. Though his journey was not always easy, he is now at peace.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his daughters, family, and all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, and may God hold him gently in His hands.
