Mr. Moore was our next door neighbor at his summer home in Linville Land Harbor. We enjoyed conversations with him for many years, and always appreciated his sharing tasty treats cooked by his wife!

David Earl was a role model for so many young people of the area who joined the Acme Delco Riegelwood Fire and Rescue , including both me and my brother, Steve. He gave of himself tirelessly to his community and to his family and I consider him to be one of the "Greatest Generation". He will be missed and I was fortunate and blessed to have known him.
