David E. Mordan, 69, of Shamokin passed away on Thursday February 6, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born February 5, 1956 in Danville, a son of the late Earle and Sophia "Alice" (Deihl) Mordan.
He graduated from Warrior Run High School class of 1974. David was a truck driver for over 35 years, last employed at William A. Spencer Trucking in Watsontown where he retired from. He enjoyed gardening, riding his motorcycle. He was a huge gun collector and enthusiast, where he would work on them. He loved to read, and some of his favorite authors were Tom Clancy and W.E.B. Griffin, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandsons. He was a member of Montour Motorcycle Club, where he was the past treasurer, as well as a member of North Montour Sportsman Association.
David is survived by four children: Jennifer Mordan (Sunbury), Katherine "Katie" Mordan and companion Joe Fetterman (Shamokin), Jasmine Mordan (Milton), Skyler Mordan (Shamokin), two grandsons: Landon and Caleb Bower (Sunbury), and four siblings: Grace Hall (Jerseytown), Gary Mordan wife Donna (Exchange), Larry Mordan (Millville), and Kathy Sherwood (Washingtonville). As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his wife the former Debra Crawford, son in law Steven Gulliver, and brother-in-law Barry Bardo.
Services will be Tuesday February 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millvillewith Pastor Shawn McNett officiating. Burial will follow at Jerseytown Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
