Dearest Sue, Jon, Scott and all Naab's family,
It is with utmost sympathy that we, from Japan, share the loss of such sweet and dearest person. With deepest regret, we are not able to be there on this date due to the distance, but we are all in spirit with you and all those who Dave was dear.
He will always be remembered for such a sweet and heartfelt personality.

I met uncle Dave only twice (same for him), and yet he was such an impactful and extraordinary person in my entire life. He was so involving and had a heartfelt personality, that I never felt the distance in which we both lived, different in every aspects and background, physically, socially, ethnically and more. My regret is that I was not able to realize the visit I promised him for last time, but his welcoming my daughter to visit his family while she was studying in the U.S. alleviated my feeling of guilt. However, I regret not having called him on last Christmas, and his last message that he loved the Christmas sweets still echoes in my heart, filling my eyes with tears.
As Helen Keller said, "What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us."
Our deepest condolences to all left ones. May his soul rest in peace with God and protect his most beloved ones from the heaven.
Luiz Shinozaki and his family.

Dave was a friend and co-worker. We served together at HRB Singer Corporation in State College, Pennsylvania, the Whitehall Corporation in Dallas, Texas, and the Telos Corporation in Santa Monica, California.
My wife Mary and I spent many social engagements with Dave and Sue throughout many years. Sue was a superb cook and always served delicious meals!
Sincere condolences to Sue, Jon and Scott.

Dave was a great friend, a golf partner, and an exceptional workmate. During the Iranian revolution, Dave and I were bunkmates while "quarantined" for several weeks and we still liked each other upon release.
We kept in touch for 40 years until a month prior to his passing. He was a true patriot.

I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Naab and his wonderful wife through Jon and Scott over 25 years ago in San Antonio. He was a very intelligent, kind and caring man that treated his friends and guests like family. His service to our country will never be forgotten, his laugh and smile will always remain in our hearts.

David epitomized the axiom that "Still Waters Run Deep". He made quiet but immense contributions to the Nation's security and was one of the finest people I have been honored to know. He made me a better person.

What a great man. His accomplishments are many, but the most important is his marriage of 50+ years to Mrs. Naab and two great sons. An example we can all live by. Rest In Peace.
