David Wayne Nason passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waukesha on November 14, 2025 at the age of 65. David was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 4, 1960 to parents Wayne Ammi and Judy Ruth Lewis Nason, the first of their two children.

He was a hard worker working 18 years before retiring from Sharp Packaging Systems as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Prior to working at Sharp he worked for Huffy Sports. David enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing. He had a collection of firearms and used them in the marksmanship competitions he took part in. Family was important to David even if he wasn’t able to get together with them as much as he may have wanted to. When he got the chance to relax he would spend time with his friends, with whiskey and bourbon being his drink of choice. David will be greatly missed by his brother, friends and other relatives.

David is survived by his loving brother Jeffery Nason of Carlsbad, CA; cherished nieces, Jade and Jazmin Nason of Carlsbad, CA; caring aunt Ruth Griggs of Mooresville, NC; beloved Goddaughter Mindy, husband Kyle Trimble, and her children Sage and Ryker Trimble of Montello, WI; and his best friends Owen and Kim Grosskrueger of Waukesha, WI. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Irene Nason; parents Wayne and Judy Nason; aunt Barbara Yorga; and uncle Joe Griggs Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held in March of 2026 coinciding with his birthday. Details to come soon.
