Mr. David C. Nichols

David C. Nichols, 65, passed away Thursday, February 27th, 2014. David was born in Lebanon, VA on June 14, 1948 to the late Henry K. and Mildred Hickam Nichols. Always smiling and exuberantly joyful, David seemingly never met a stranger. His sacrificial love and kind spirit, a fruit of his relationship with Jesus, leaves a legacy in the lives of so many. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Nichols; step-son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Amy Broyles; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Bruce and Sara Nichols and Keith and Brenda Nichols; nephew Kane Nichols; niece, Amanda Nichols and granddaughter, Lena Broyles. The viewing will be held in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel at Oak Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Mike Laughrun officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to YMI, a Christian mission organization equipping pastors and churches around the world to minister to young people and their families.
