David Nobles Obituary
David Gerald "Jerry" Nobles age 87, of the China Grove Community passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 in his home. Born May 14, 1938 in Columbus County, NC., he was the son of the late Spurgeon Durant Nobles and Lannie Ward Nobles.
He is survived by his children, Kimberly Melton (Jeff) of Dillion, SC., Chris Nobles (Kim) of Chadbourn, NC., two grandchildren, Jordan Nobles (Summer), Morgan Moore (Jacob). Three great grandchildren, Jaxon Nobles, Eli Moore, and Noah Moore and a close family friend Cynthia Palmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant sister, Patricia Ann Nobles and one son, David G. Nobles Jr.
A private service with family and friends will be held at China Grove Baptist Church.
A service of Inman Ward Funeral Home & Crematory of Tabor City.
