To the David Norris family, I am surprised and so sorry to hear that David is no longer with us. He will be missed by me and many others. He was a neighbor growing up and classmate PV Jr. Hi and North Hi. He was a compassionate Adult and a friend in deed, always had a friendly
and exuberant attitude towards all.
May God provide special blessings and care to the family at this time. Thanks
David for your editorial in the Eagle for Wichita's birthday in 2017 and thanks for dropping by our North high school reunion in 2017.

The respect and admiration I had for David was immense. He was a mentor and friend and taught me many lessons that made me a better person. I will miss him and offer my condolences to Clowie, his family and all of us who admired and respected David. He made a positive difference in many people's lives. For the rest of my days whenever I think of David it will make me smile. I'm honored to have known him.

My deepest condolences to his friends and family. David will always be dear to my heart. He was a good man. Stubborn as hell but with a heart of gold. I will forever cherish the memories I have of of the years that I was his Personal Trainer. He loved his family dearly and always spoke of how much he adored Clowie, his children and grandchildren. The world was a better place with him in it and I know he will be terribly missed. RIP Captain.

David was a very good friend, we enjoyed our three yrs of playing football together at North. My sympathy and condolence goes out to all the family.

One tuff competitor. Loss track of you as the years went bye. It looks like you were very active. A man with a lot of energy. I extend my hand to the family and will always look out for you.

Oh David.. you were the best! I am so sad to lose a friend who was an honest man of integrity and intelligence.. what will we do without you. For your family, I wish them all only the best memories that you have made.

If you ever met David you could never forget him. He may be gone but he left me with many fond memories. I will think of him every time I look at my glass of scotch.

David & I were old friends from Pleasant Valley elementary & jr. high. Sweethearts at one time & enjoyed our tender years together. He will be sorely missed. In high school we both had different friends & life changed for us but friends we always were. Blessings to the Norris family & loved ones!!!

I will miss your passion, your intellect, your humor and your friendship.
I will raise a drink or three to you, my friend, I only wish it could have been together.

My deepest sympathy to the family. My older brother, Bob Cummins ran around with David when they both went to North High. As a younger sister of Bob's, David always teased around with me but always made me feel like a friend. My brother Bob has passed away too and I know they will be meeting in Heaven, I just hope they are ready for them!

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
