Mr. David Thomas Outing was born on October 10, 1947, in Columbia, South Carolina, the son of the late Christopher and Eloise Bethel Outing. Mr. Outing slipped away from this earthly dwelling on his only sister's birthday, the late Christine Outing, to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Jehovah) on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
David was educated in the Richland County Public Schools, with an occupation as one of the best Master Mechanics for over 40 years. Mr. Outing loved and adored his family. He enjoyed cars, music, playing the guitar, and martial arts. Mr. Outing was a man who belonged to God, a leader, and a man with integrity and much confidence! He was handsome, accountable, loving, strong, firm, smart, talented, and with much intelligence. Mr. Outing believed in working hard without excuses. He had more than one motto, but one he always said was "What come fast will never last, and what comes slow will last for show."
In addition to his parents, Mr. Outing was also preceded in death by his sister, Christine Outing; two brothers, Larry and Christopher (Junior) Outing; and two grandsons, David Outing and Travis Green.
Though Mr. Outing is no longer here with us on earth, his memory is left to be cherished by his loving family and his nine (9) children, David (Takecia) Outing, Thomas Outing, Torrance Outing, Timothy (LaShonda) Outing, Christopher (Lauren) Outing, Dorris (Ako) Taylor, Thomas "TJ" Outing, Davitta (Lionel) Outing, all of South Carolina; and Richard Outing of North Carolina; his brother, Nathaniel Outing; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
