David Parker

David Parker, a son, father and friend departed this earth on January 6, 2026 at the age of sixty-nine. David was born on November 6, 1956, in South Haven, Michigan to Elbert Lee Sr. and Annie Delores Parker.
David grew up in Bangor, Michigan attending Bangor Public Schools. Later on in his young life he moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and attended Kalamazoo Central High School. After high school David was employed by Kalamazoo County Road Commission, Walmart and a family owned restaurant Ranch House Ribs. He loved to grill, go fishing and play the guitar.
On March 9, 2011 David married the love of his life Jennifer White in Kalamazoo, Michigan where they continued to reside. David leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jennifer Parker, three sons Shomari Brown, Damisi Parker, Rashan Parker, daughter Fatia Parker, stepson Phillip White, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers Elbert Jr. (Brenda) Parker of Chicago, Illinois., John (Tayna) Parker of Kalamazoo, Michigan; five sisters Fannie Trimuel of Chicago, Illinois, Darnell Parker, of Bangor, Michigan, Blanche Tischler, of Leesburg Florida, Bobbie (Van) Ollie, of Grayson, Georgia, Dorothy Jarrett, of Dacula, Georgia; brothers in-law Steve White, Gregory Ousley, Chris Ousley; sisters in-law Alberta Parker, Dorothy McFadden-Parker, Tina Ousley, Tammy White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special friend Curtis Murray Sr.
David was preceded in death by his parents Elbert Sr. and Annie Parker, brothers Thelton Parker Sr. and Robert Parker Sr, sisters Clotee Saulsberry, Annie Brunt and Kate Cunningtham, father in-law Armour Ousley and mother in-law Ethel White.
