David Plair Obituary
David Edward Plair of Jennings, FL passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 76. David resided in Porterdale, Georgia. David was born to the late Ed and Lossie Fishburn Plair. He grew up in Jennings, FL around the smell of Prince Albert tobacco in his dad's pipe and cane syrup and biscuits in his mom's kitchen. David retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. David enjoyed reminiscing in the rocking chair and walks along Sanibel Island. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Gary Plair, Don Plair, and Patti Patrick.
Survivors include two sisters, Faye Wacter of Hillard, FL and Lynn Plair Davis of Jennings, FL. He has three sons Rusty Plair of Caldwell, TX, Randy Plair of Social Circle, GA, and Jeff Plair of Greenbrier, AR. The Plair name is carried on through 5 grandchildren: Ethan, Levi, Judah, Shepherd, and Abel Plair. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A private family gathering is planned at a future date.
