Roberta, Earl and I are praying for you. What joy we have because we know for certain that Dave is with Jesus. We have floods of memories of you both but my favorites were at Kids camp. You both treated us so royally. Sherry and I mentioned on a text the fun we had when we did David Plake and the Flakes on platform. We were so proud of how he went out of character for us.
May Jesus give you His perfect comfort as you begin a different stage of life. Heaven is filling with people that I care for. One of these days we will all be together. Love you!

Dave was a very dedicated leader who influenced so many lives for Christ. He was very mission-minded, very kind and committed to the discipleship of all age groups. I am grateful for his influence in my life.

Ruthanne and I would like to add our voices to those who will want to pay tribute to David. His life and reputation have enabled him to impact the hearts and lives of many positively. We celebrate the legacy that remains, and we pray for the family.

David was a great leader of men for Christ.
It was a great honor serving with him as a Sectional Men's Rep and those Light For The Lost tours. He will alway be in our heart.
David and Roberta were a true blessing to the Illinois District...WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!
