David “Grinner” Poplin

I had the privilege to work with this man.He kept me laughing all the time.I loved to hear his stories about Hunting as well.At our Company,he was called "Coyote".He will truly be missed.RIP My Friend.

I have known David since kindergarten and he always had that beautiful smile. He was always gentle and soft spoken around me and I´m sorry for his family´s loss. I hope you find comfort in his memory and may it be a blessing.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. David was always such a sweet person. I will always remember him riding his bike and giving big hugs! He was a good friend to me in school.

Sincere condolences. David was an incredible person. In the early years, we fished at the same spots a lot of times and had very heartfelt conversations. He always stood up for the underdog, and he always made me laugh. Prayers for the family.

i absolutely loved david! i have so many memories of us working at ak steel for a lot of years. his smile always made the day a little easier. my love and deepest sympathy for his family. i will keep you in my prayers.

I´ve known David for about 45 years. I haven´t had the opportunity to see him in the last few years but every time I did see him there was always a big hug and a laugh. RIP Grinner fly high!!

My heart just breaks for the loss of such a great guy!! He always thought of others,I will never forget the memories we had ,The trip he took with my late husband all the snow they got stuck in South Dakota, Sledding with our kids,He had 2 sweet beautiful daughters we made memories with!!!! Life is so short!!!! Hug your loved ones and Cherish the memories coz that's all we will have left!!!!!

Dave was a real good man if he liked you he liked you if he didn't like you he would tell you right to your face he was one of a kind he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed he always made you laugh an the day go by quickly when you was working with him we was really good friends an I will miss him

I am sending my thoughts and prayers to his family. Everyday that I had the pleasure of working with poplin he would made each day full of laughter always making each job feel like a party. I will truly miss him.
