Labrador Retrievers connected me to David through the purchase of a chocolate lab puppy, Mia, years ago...he would then add Kodi and Beau through other lab breeders who I introduced...David then added Meko when Mia passed. What stood out to me was the complete joy I would hear in David's voice when he would randomly call to fill me in on the antics of the dogs and how proud he was when they would learn a new skill. David appreciated my effort as a Labrador Retriever breeder and he along with Kathy motivated me with their enthusiasm and kindness. My condolences to the Quimby family ...I would like to think that Mia and David's other previous dogs gone before were at the rainbow bridge to greet him and they are now on the hunt for pheasant in golden fields.

Dave was a childhood friend, we were very close at times but were also seperated at times, I am in shock and will miss talking to him. RIP my good buddy! He talked me into working at carpenter technology 46 years ago!
