David T. Quinlan, 59, of Livingston, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ.
Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, David was the beloved son of the late Kathleen Longo (née Ragusa) and James Quinlan. He was a proud graduate of the University of Delaware's College of Business and Economics.
As a Certified Financial Planner, David was deeply committed to making a difference in both business and personal lives through his passion for finance. Throughout his career, he was respected for his professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for his clients.
David was also devoted to service and community. He was a proud member of several emergency care organizations, including the University of Delaware Emergency Care Unit and the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad.
He is survived by his loving brother, Ken Quinlan, and his wife, Elizabeth; and his stepsiblings, Antoinette Matthews-Clemons and her husband, Eugene; Chuck Matthews and his wife, Kathy; Chrissy Hoffman and her husband, Mark; Charlie Longo, Jr. and his wife, Margie; and Joe Longo and his wife, Annette. He is also survived by his aunt, Nancy Quinlan, and his companion, Gladys Torres.
Visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Avenue, Summit, New Jersey, on Wednesday, November 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a service to begin at 5:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in David's honor to the Yankees Universe Fund, a partnership between the New York Yankees and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center that supports programs in pediatric patient care, research, and education.
