David Randell "Randy" Reeder, 69, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at 11:15 pm.
Randy was born on February 11, 1955, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Alvin William "Bill" Reeder and Minnie "Faye" Stevens Reeder. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Pampa, Texas, where he graduated from Pampa High School. Randy dedicated 37 years and 8 months of his life to public service as a civilian government employee before his retirement.
On July 27, 1984, he married Elida Gonzales in Beeville, Texas. During his time in Beeville, Randy was active in his community, serving as President of the local Lions Club. Throughout his life, he pursued his creative passions of leatherwork and pen and pencil sketching.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Elida; his daughter Vanessa Young and her husband Jimmie, along with their children D, Elijah, Millie, and Laia; his daughter Julia Faye Reeder; his sister Billie Weatherly and her husband Leslie of Decatur, Texas; and his brother Jim Reeder and his wife Peggy of Krum, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Faye Reeder.
