Mr. David Carl Risso

David Carl Risso, Jr. passed into God's care with family at his side after a short illness at St. Joseph's Hospital. Dave was the son of the late David C. Risso, Sr. and Eugenia Rossi Risso. He was the loving husband for 63 years of the late Gloria DelCorso Risso. Dave and Gloria were married one week before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Shortly after, Dave enlisted in the United States Navy where he served until the end of the war. In 1950, Dave founded his electrical company, Risso Electric, which continues to this day. He retired in 2003, but remained active in his business interests until his death. Dave is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Leslie Risso of Stockton and his daughter, Susan Risso, of Seattle, Wa. He was the "Nono" of six, Tracey Risso Heiman (Jon) of Long Beach, Nick (Lisa) Risso, Terry Risso of Stockton, Allison Risso of San Jose and Amos and Otis Cernohouz of Seattle, Wa. He was the "More Nono" of five, T.J., Kevin and Summer Risso of Stockton and Kylie and Shane Heiman of Long Beach. Dave was an active member of the Elks Lodge and the Italian Athletic Club of Stockton. He spent his last years with his many friends and relatives, dancing, listening to jazz and basking in the sun with his dogs.
