David E. Rittle Jr.

David E. Rittle, Jr., 38, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was the husband of Amy L. (Strubhar) Rittle. Born in Lebanon on July 22, 1987, he was the son of David E. Sr., and Kimberly R. (Hartman) Rittle of Lebanon. He had worked as an OTR truck driver and also did local trucking. He was raised on a dairy farm, and he enjoyed crop farming. He was a member of the Cedar Crest Class of 2006. While he was in school, he was an active member of FFA and 4H. He especially loved spending time with his wife and daughter, Avalynn. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter Avalynn; brother Daniel J. (Chelsea) Rittle of Elizabethtown and their children: Parker, Riker, Raelyn and Sawyer; his in-laws Randy & Toni Strubhar of Ebenezer; sisters-in-law Karin Acuna and Stephanie Hehnley, both of Reading; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service.
