As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I just wanted David's family to know that I just received a memory bracelet in honor of him. It was given to me by my friend Jackie Cannizzaro at an annual memorial dinner in honor of her husband, Brian Cannizzaro, a firefighter who was lost in the attacks of September 11. (A memory bracelet was given to all who attended and I happened to receive one with his name on it.) I just wanted to say that I wear it with pride and in great honor of his life.
I have attended breakfast meetings at Windows of the World and wonder if David & I were there at the same time.
I cherish the bracelet and will take him with me wherever I go. God bless his family. He will not be forgotten. Regina

As a gift from Calvary Church of Albuquerque, I received a "Mercy Band" with David's name on it. Perhaps as a message from our Lord, it turns out I lost my brother who's name is the same as the first part of David's name, "David B" and he too was 44 years old. I now wear this band to remind me to pray for both the family of David B. Rodriguez-Vargas and mine.

I did not know you or anyone else who passed away that horrible day of September 11, 2001. I am really sorry that so many wonderful people where killed. I pray for the family and friends of this man who much find a way to go one without him. May he rest in peace forever more.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
