David Winston Ruley

I had known David since 2007 and we played decent amount of golf in Plum Creek and Green Valley Ranch. I came to know today that he passed away. Shocked me as I used to meet him in Park Hill driving range till last summer. My late condolences to the family!!!!

We met about four years ago through the bank and grew to be good friends. Our conversation were typically about golf and politics. We did not always agree but we respected each other. I had the pleasure of playing a round of golf with David which I will always remember. It was a perfect day and David was playing very well. However, when we reached 15, a par three with a creek on the left, David hooked his ball into the water. Without a moment of thought, David walked straight into the creek (shoes and all), picked up his ball, took a lateral drop, chipped up and made the putt for bogey. I won't say what came out of his mouth next but I will always remember. I love ya like a brother David!

David has been my friend for almost 50 years. I was at the hospital when both of his boys were born. He was my best man. We have had breakfast every Saturday for the past 10 years.
Words will never be enough.

I met David 3 1/2 years ago as my landlord but we became friends through playing golf together. I'm glad I got to know David as more than my landlord and I will miss having him around. RIP

I've known David for 37 years played a lot of golf with him one of the most interesting people I've ever met he will be sorely missed
