David made his home in Florence for many years, where he valued the peace of small-town life and the friendships he built along the way.
Raised in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, David lived a quiet, steady life marked by loyalty, hard work, and a deep sense of care for those he loved. He was known for his dry humor, his straightforward nature, and the way he always showed up for family in his own dependable way.
David had a lifelong passion for college sports-especially Alabama football (Roll Tide!)-and he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting of all kinds, whether with a crossbow, rifle, or anything that let him spend time in the woods.
A private family service was held in Alabama, with interment of his ashes to take place alongside family at Dwight Mission Cemetery, outside of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
